Entertainment reviews for kids’ programs

A website that is especially useful for parents of middle school and high school age children is Pluggedinonline.com. This site provides reviews on Movies, TV shows, Music, DVD’s and Videos, and Games.

You can look up information on something your kids might want to see or listen to and read about the content before considering if they are able to. The writers look at the media program and consider the content, looking at positive elements, spiritual content, sexual content, violent content, language, drug and alcohol content, etc.

It is a good way to research an entertainment program, rather than simply relying on the rating system used for media.

  1. This is one of my favorite resources! We don’t watch a movie without it!

  2. I agree with Sue W – awesome resource…and not just for kids stuff, either. It’s great for any adult who wants to be discerning about what they put in their head. Covers movies, music, video games, books…you name it! Thanks for getting it out there, Cathi!
