Last consideration, for now…

Another way to be considerate to your spouse is to forgive his or her mistakes.

“…if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.” Colossians 3:13

When you first fall in love, it is easy to describe the person you love as perfect. Infatuation with that new love in your life makes it very easy to look past his or her imperfections. However, no one has ever lead a perfect life except for Jesus. Your spouse is not perfect, and never can be.

Your spouse will need your forgiveness, and you will need forgiveness as well.  If you are struggling with forgiveness, ask Jesus for His help.
