Time savers

Here are a few time saver ideas for our busy lives…

Take out laundry right away to avoid it wrinkling

When you take out your laundry as soon as the dryer finishes running, you can hang up the shirts and pants you would usually have to iron before they get wrinkled. Some might still need to be ironed, but many may not. Another help for this is to buy “wrinkle-resistant” shirts.

Plan places you have to go to ahead of time

I often look ahead to the next week and plan out any trips I have to make based on where I’m already planning to go.   This can help better utilize your time as well as your car mileage or bus money.

For example, there is one specific grocery store that is the only one in the area with a few items I like to buy, but the store is about 20 minutes from our house. When I know I’ll be in that area, I stop at that store and restock on those few items that are special products of that store.

List of contents in freezer

I got this idea from one of my sisters. She has a list on her refrigerator of the contents inside her extra freezer. Before making a trip to the store, she can look at this list to see which items she already has in the freezer.
