The good soil…

Why do we water our garden? What is our purpose when we do this?

Answers to this question might be:

  • To get water into the soil so that the roots of the plants can get the water they need
  • To help the plants grow
  • To help the sun, soil, and water work together to make a perfect place for growth to occur

We don’t just water plants because we like to, but because there is a reason for it.

“As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.” Luke 8:15

How can we better prepare the soil that surrounds us as we grow in our spiritual life?

My next post will continue with this concept…
