God’s Word Part 3: Reliable God

In my last post I wrote about the idea of peace and confusion. I decided to continue with some ideas that connect to that post.

While people, local leaders, national leaders, and even nations will disappoint us in their imperfections, our God is a God who is reliable and unchangeable.

Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change his mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?”

In a world where lying seems so commonplace, God is the one reliable source of constant truth.

And even beyond that, He is a God who hears every beat of your heart, whether it is a heartbeat of fear, a heartbeat of love, a heartbeat of anger, a heartbeat of peace, or a heartbeat of confusion.

He hears it all, knows it all, and loves you through it all.

If you are frustrated with the lack of truth in our world, you don’t have to wallow in your worry. You can find truth in God’s Word. Read the truth in the bible. The truth is there for you.

I will continue with ideas that connect to this in my next post.
