The spring-times in our lives

In the springtime, I love the newness of life that appears slowly and beautifully; flowers growing, trees budding, the return of birds from their southern respite. I often stop and listen to the spring sounds I love, such as geese honking as they fly overhead, frogs chirping at night, and birds whistling throughout the day.

We can experience a newness anytime, not just in the spring. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, we’re told, “Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

I love the hope in that verse, the feeling of spring and of being alive. What parts of spring do you love, and how do they remind you of the newness we have in Christ?
