When we can’t do it alone

This post is part of a blog series on bible verses that give us inspiration and comfort.  Thank you for visiting!

Bible verses that comfort me:

Psalm 63:7-8

What I love about these verses:

It reminds me that God is my comforter. He protects me. He loves me. He holds me up.

These verses connect to current, daily life by:

Everyone has moments when they feel weak, broken, sad; moments when we feel like we need to be held up by someone because we cannot do it ourselves. In this verse, like in so many of the Psalms, I’m reminded that God is with me and that He is the one who will hold me up when I feel weak, and comfort me when I feel sad. God is not some “cloud out in the distance” or some unknown entity, but He is right next to me, feeling the pain that I feel, shedding the tears that I shed, and calling me to Him so that He can comfort me.
